FUNDRAISERS will be keeping fit as they help a Huddersfield children’s charity.

West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust is looking for volunteers to travel the distance of the Coast to Coast walk – without leaving the comfort of a gym.

Fundraisers will walk, run, row or cycle for 380 miles at Prohms Health Academy on St Thomas’ Road.

The distance is the equivalent of travelling the Coast to Coast walk from Robin Hood’s Bay in North Yorkshire to St Bees in Cumbria and back again.

Prohms Health Academy is hosting fundraising sessions from Monday, December 6, to Friday, December 10.

Community fundraiser Lauren Moore said: “The academy is doing a great thing by bringing in lots of money for a great cause and getting people exercising. Hopefully we will reach our target of £1,000.”

To book a time slot at the gym call Liz on 01484 427 955 or email info@prohmshealthacademy.co.uk.
